What is the difference between a made-to-measure dress and a bespoke dress?

A made-to-measure dress is one that is created based on your specific measurements. Apart from getting your initial measurements done, you won’t be involved or have any control over the rest of the design process and can expect to receive your finished dress in the end.

A bespoke dress, however, is one that is completely custom-made from scratch. They are created with extensive input from the bride on various aspects from design, fabrics, detailings such as laces and other customisations. These dresses are first made with a cheaper fabric known as toile, and once the perfect fit is achieved, they are then created using the actual fabrics and laces meant for the final product.

What is the difference between a sample dress and a couture dress?
