At d’Italia, our dress designers are all qualified and experienced in bridal design, garment construction, fabric knowledge, pattern-making and styling. Our talented team can hand-sketch your custom bridal gown alongside you during your initial appointment with us. Your wedding dress designer will also be able to help you with fine-tuning your style and give you advice on what details and fabrics will flatter you and your body shape the best. Once all of your ideas are finalised and your custom design is refined, you will be guided through our incredible range of exclusive French laces and luxurious silks where you will then get to select your very own fabrics for your custom piece.

At d’Italia we generally work 12-18 months in advance of events. Creation of the perfect couture gown takes time and lots of precision and care. Appointments and fittings are spread out over a number of months, deliberately planned out into the future so that there is no unnecessary stress involved and so we can ensure that you have an enjoyable, smooth and stress-free experience. Production of your gown may not begin immediately, however your gorgeous fabrics and laces will be ordered straight away to ensure that we have plenty of time to have fun and create something gorgeous together during your fittings.
